It Smells Just Like Popcorn

It smells just like what? Wait, what is Dr. McDonald talking about? Not a vagina? A vagina can smell just like popcorn? Why? All will be revealed in this amazing book. What I have learned as a Board Certified Obstetrician Gynecologist in practice for over a decade, is that women have questions about every aspect of the female body.

- Is my breast supposed to feel like this?
- Is my body hair supposed to grow like this?
- Is my pregnancy supposed to go like this?
- Is my discharge supposed to smell like this?

Turn your gaze from the internet search box to this funny and informative text. Women of all ages will find pearls and gain trustworthy information about which aspects of the female body are normal, and what to do if things go haywire. Use It Smells Just Like Popcorn as an index for as-needed answers, or pop some ACTUAL popcorn, sit down and read it all of the way through.

However you choose to use this book, you will be healthier and more informed when you are finished. Speaking of how to use this book, be advised, this book is on my list of things NOT to put IN your vagina.

Yes, there is a list. In this second edition, find even more pearls about all of your lady parts, including the vagina, which I like to call The Kernel. Actually, I don't call it that, but for the purposes of this book, it works. My hope is that you will find more information, and have more fun than ever before. These days, social media and the media in general are full of health advise from unclear sources. Every pearl in this book will be backed by evidence or clearly stated as anecdotes from years of experience. That's health information you can trust.

My Body is My Temple

Nia is confident and powerful. She believes in herself and is a leader. Nia takes pride in doing what is right and doesn’t need external validation. She loves people, and people love her, but if nobody likes her, she likes herself. She is not always right and isn’t afraid to be wrong. She doesn’t need to be perfect in order to be proud of herself.

In My Body Is My Temple, Nia takes care of her body and her emotional well-being. She is a good friend and hopes to find love one day, but knows that true love transcends superficial things and starts from within. Welcome to Powerful Nia. My prayer is that this collection of works will empower, strengthen and remind us that we are more valuable than we can ever imagine.

About the Author

Wendy Goodall McDonald, M.D. F.A.C.O.G, is the founder, an author, and the Editor-In-Chief of The Gyneco-(b)Logic. She is a Board Certified Obstetrician Gynecologist in the city of Chicago. Oh, hell, this third person foolishness is messing with me. I’ll just tell you about myself, myself. You can also get ALL OF ME on dreverywoman.com.

I was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. Yes, that makes me a White Sox fan by default, but Go Cubs Go, World Series 2016 Champs! I went to Robert A. Black Elementary for Preschool and the University of Chicago Lab Schools from Kindergarten through 12th Grade

I attended and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Xavier University of Louisiana with Bachelors of Science degree. I would have had Summa Cum Laude had it not been for that one Biology test senior year that I slacked on in my final semester. It bothers me to this day.
